Today, host Maty Sy welcomes you from the new Goethe-Institute in Dakar, designed by Pritzker Prize laureate Francis Kéré. Senegalese architect Nzinga Mboup, who oversaw the project, tours you around.

Host Maty Sy is joined by architect Nzinga Mboup, who oversaw the construction of the new Goethe Institute in Dakar. The Senegalese with Mozambican and Cameroonian roots worked on this building with Pritzker Price laureate Francis Kéré, who designed the building and walks you through her favorite spots.

In Ethiopia, a startup in Addis Ababa is building the future by solving two problems at once – plastic pollution and housing shortages.

Researcher Annah-Ololade Sangosanya produces artificial leather from mushrooms. Her vision - creating clothing from an organic material that can repair itself. 

Artist and Designer, Diseye Tantua from Nigeria builds very special but highly functional works of art - his furniture is made from old cars.
