How dangerous sepsis is

In sepsis, often referred to as blood poisoning or septicemia, pathogens or the toxins they have produced leave the site of inflammation and spread throughout the entire body. Many people underestimate the dangers of sepsis. It is one of the most frequent causes of death. Its symptoms are hard for non-experts to recognize and its outcome is always fatal without immediate medical attention.
