BrokenLifts helps people in wheelchairs navigate Berlin's public transport system. A teen wheelchair user takes us to meet those behind the project. And more inspiring women on the move: in India, Thailand and Vietnam.

Berlin's public transport system is extensive but not always easy for those with mobility issues to navigate. BrokenLifts helps by posting real-time info on kaputt elevators. Lotte, a 14-year-old wheelchair user, introduces us to the project and the people behind it. We accompany her as she travels around Berlin on public transport. Even just getting from the subway platform up to the street level can take be a minutes-long odyssey — and that's when all the elevators are working. But what happens when they aren't? Lotte checks BrokenLifts before setting out, as a broken elevator can change her whole journey. And more inspiring women on the move: In India, meet a motorcyclist who's become an influencer. Plus, three women who drive for a living — in India, Thailand and Vietnam.
