How much more can Iran's opposition take?

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed on Wednesday he would not budge in response to protests over the disputed presidential elections. But he has extended a deadline to examine vote complaints by five days. In the face of international condemnation of its crackdown on opposition protesters, Tehran has cancelled its participation in an upcoming G8 meeting on Afghanistan - and stepped up measures to prevent more demonstrations.
