How to Face your Past - Tunisia looks to Germany

Germans have a reputation for being thorough and they've shown the same determination when it comes to confronting their past. The post-revolutionary societies in northern Africa are now interested in learning from Germany's example. In Tunisia, for example, democratic groups have invited the director of the Berlin-Hohenschönhausen memorial, where East Germany's secret police kept prisoners, to visit their country.
