At least 83 people are known to have been killed in the massive fire at a high-rise housing complex in Hong Kong. With hundreds more reported missing, that figure is expected to rise.

The blaze spread via bamboo scaffolding during maintenance work, raising safety concerns. Survivors watched in shock as volunteers delivered food and blankets.
