Illustrator Birgit Schlössow

On a whim German illustrator Birgit Schössow sent one of her art works to the " The New Yorker" and it ended up on the front cover. The American magazine is known for it's strong covers and some of the illustrations have since become icons of pop culture. That certainly has helped her career, too.
