In Gaza, flooded shelters make life unbearable for displaced

Winter rains and flooding have turned living conditions for displaced and homeless Palestinians in Gaza into absolute misery. Their tents have been inundated, soaking mattresses, clothes and food supplies.

Winter storms are turning life for Palestinians in Gaza into a nightmare. Displaced families are battling floods in flimsy tents after losing their homes during the two years of war.

With little aid and no safe shelter, parents fear for their children as cold and hunger set in. Promised supplies under the Israel-Hamas ceasefire haven't arrived, and calls for urgent international help are growing louder.
