US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has met with Ukrainian and European officials in Geneva to advance Washington's 28-point peace plan for Ukraine. The proposal, which includes territorial concessions to Russia, has sparked concern among Kyiv's allies and US lawmakers.
After a day of talks, Rubio expressed optimism, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed "substantive" progress. A joint statement said any deal must uphold Ukraine's sovereignty and ensure a "sustainable and just peace."
