Arab states call on Israel to give up nuclear weapons

Arab states and Iran are reviving a long-standing campaign for Israel to abandon its suspected nuclear arsensal. An Egyptian government newspaper has called for an international conference aimed at ridding the Middle East of weapons of mass destruction. Charles Heyman is a senior defence analyst for Jane’s Consultancy Group, a commercial intelligence agency. Newslink's Meggin Leigh Doody asked him what was driving demands on Israel to scrap its suspected arsenal.
