Iran sent its response to the latest US ceasefire proposal via Pakistani mediators, but President Donald Trump quickly rejected it as "TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!"

US President Donald Trump  has rejected Iran’s counter‑proposal to restart peace talks as "totally unacceptable," deepening a fragile standoff.

Tehran insists it is only seeking its "legitimate rights," including the release of frozen assets and an end to the US naval blockade. Iran continues to block the Strait of Hormuz  as the US blockades Iranian ports. Trump has made ending Iran’s nuclear program a war goal, with US strikes hitting nuclear sites.

Talks mediated by Pakistan remain uncertain, as global energy prices rise.
