Iran strikes Kuwait refinery after Israel hits gas field

US President Donald Trump said the US was not involved in the Israeli strikes on an Iranian gas field. Trump said he urged Israel's leader to stop hitting the world's largest gas field.

Iran has escalated tensions in the Gulf with drone strikes on a Kuwaiti oil refinery, days after Israel hit Iran’s South Pars gas field. The US and Qatar were caught off guard, but Washington and Tel Aviv now align publicly. President Trump says the US had no role in the strike and urged restraint, while Israel’s Netanyahu confirms acting alone and pausing future attacks.
