The UAE restricted flights after a missile strike on an oil facility, which it blamed on Iran. The attack followed US efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Tensions between the United States and Iran are escalating beyond the Strait of Hormuz after missile and drone attacks struck an oil facility in Fujairah, UAE, injuring three Indian nationals.

The UAE says Iran launched the strikes, while Washington claims progress in reopening the strait under its "Project Freedom" naval escorts.

Iranian officials warned the US and UAE against deepening the conflict, saying Iran's response has "not even begun yet."
