Ireland's vote against the EU reform treaty has plunged the European Union into crisis. Now conspiracy theories are swirling around in Dublin. The leader of the 'No' camp, Declan Ganley, is alleged to have been acting for the CIA to prevent greater EU integration. The 39-year-old businessman is said to have pumped millions of euros derived from unknown sources into the 'No' campaign. Ganley just laughs at the charges and says, "Maybe I'm an agent for the Martians, too?" His admirers aren't bothered by the rumors about the CIA. For them, Ganley is a staunch defender of Irish values.
