Ireland votes “Yes!” to ratify the EU Lisbon Treaty

Ireland has overwhelmingly ratified the EU Lisbon Treaty. The 67.1 % approval of the EU’s reform pact was in stark contrast to the country’s “no” vote of last year. But, it wasn’t just a simple “change of mind”.
