Is Indian Secularism in Danger?

India claims to be a secular country. And yet, only recently, police in the Indian city of Hyderabad have been found to have tortured Muslim youth, a serving army officer is being suspected of involvement in a Hindu terrorist cell, and there have been widespread attacks on Christians in different parts of the country this year. So how strong is India’s secularism?
