South African lawyers have accused Israel of planning to "destroy" Gaza in its case of genocide at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. Israel vehemently denies the charge, calling it "baseless." Professor of law Yuval Shany says the bar for successfully bringing a prosecution for genocide is very high.
