On Wednesday, Israelis marked three years since the Hamas-led October 7 attacks, which killed around 1,200 people and saw 251 taken hostage.
Memorial events were held across Israel, including at the Nova music festival site and Kfar Aza kibbutz, where families remembered loved ones killed.
The attacks triggered Israel’s war in Gaza, in which more than 74,000 Palestinians, mainly civilians and a large proportion of women and children, have since been killed, according to the Gaza health authorities.
A fragile ceasefire is in place.
