Israel on Tuesday rejected any truce with Hamas as it continues its air and naval strikes in Gaza for a fourth day. Since the Israeli offensive began, Palestinian militants have fired some 250 rockets and mortar rounds into Israel, killing four Israelis, including one soldier.
