Hamas said it remains committed to the US-backed peace plan.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected key elements of a US-backed Gaza peace plan, saying it fails to ensure the full disarmament of Hamas.

The move marks a public split with US President Donald Trump, who recently announced an agreement that would see Hamas and other armed groups disarm in exchange for an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.

Palestinians voiced frustration over stalled efforts, while Hamas said it remains committed to the roadmap and expects mediators to press Israel to accept the deal.
