Middle East analyst Laura Blumenfeld told DW that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is taking a hard line on a planned Rafah offensive despite objections from Washington. The US is withholding offensive weapons which could be used in Rafah, but is unlikely to cut off the weapons that Israel needs to defend itself.
