People have gathered in Tel Aviv to call for the return of Ran Gvili's remains — the last hostage still held in Gaza. More than two years on, his parents say the wait for the return of his body has become unbearable.

In Tel Aviv, families and supporters have gathered to demand the return of Ran "Rani" Gvili, Israel's last hostage in Gaza.

Gvili, an elite police officer, was killed during the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led attack, and his body taken to Gaza. His parents fear he may never come home, as hopes for a stalled ceasefire plan fade.

Meanwhile, calls for a government inquiry into the October 7 attacks and renewed anti-government protests are growing louder.
