Israeli hostages killed by IDF were 'holding white flag'

The three hostages who were mistakenly killed by the IDF in the Gaza Strip were carrying a makeshift white flag, according to the Israeli military. DW asked IDF spokesperson Jonathan Conricus how the killings could have happened.
