Israeli strikes hit several cities in southern Lebanon, killing over a dozen people according to Lebanese officials. Israel says it targeted Hezbollah‑linked sites as tensions persist despite a mid-April ceasefire.

Israeli forces have struck the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, targeting what they say are Hezbollah-linked sites.

Residents are once again clearing debris after repeated bombardments.

Israel has expanded an evacuation zone up to 40 kilometers inside Lebanon, urging civilians to flee as it intensifies operations against the Iran-backed group.

Despite a ceasefire in place since April, near-daily strikes continue, displacing hundreds of thousands and raising doubts about ongoing diplomatic efforts.
