Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon have killed more than a dozen people, including a family with two children, according to Lebanese authorities. The Israeli military says it targeted Hezbollah-linked infrastructure in Tyre while expanding the area it declares to be a "combat zone" and ordering residents there to leave. Despite a ceasefire in mid-April, near-daily attacks persist, displacing hundreds of thousands. Many residents vow to stay regardless.
