It is the biggest labour dispute in the history of Lufthansa. 4000 Pilots are on strike for four days. The pilots's Union, Cockpit, hopes that this action will ensure capable and experienced Lufthansa pilots aren't replaced by cheaper colleagues employed at subsidiaries. Tens of thousands of passengers are grounded.
