Italian soccer clubs are hoping that stadiums full of happy, laughing children could rescue their sport. They plan a fan stand reserved for families, with free entrance for children. Potential rioters will have to stay outside the stadium gates. The goal of the initiative is to make weekend soccer matches events for families and to ban aggression from the country's sports arenas. It's one step in Italy's efforts to combat soccer hooliganism.
