09.2015 Generation 25 Protagonist Josephine Müller

What is your name?
Josephine Müller

Where and when were you born?
In February 1989 in Leipzig

What is your current place of residence?
Leipzig

What is your profession?
I'm a DJ and a part-time student.

What are your dreams?
I'd love to do a solo gig at a festival in front of thousands of people, ideally presenting some of my own tracks.

What is your biggest fear in life?
This may sound a bit absurd, but things like losing a limb or going deaf. You know how people sometimes play that game where they ask, "Would you rather go blind or deaf?'"That's a real tough one for me… I don't think I could live without the ability to hear. For one thing, I could no longer do what I love doing, so that's my biggest fear.

What makes you happy?
When I stand in front of a large crowd and notice all the energy that comes back. When I leave that stage, I feel like I'm about to explode from all the endorphins in my body.

What are you ashamed of?
Hmm. Racist people, who just spread stupid ideas without thinking.

Tell us about an image that will never be erased from your memory.
I used to have a pony, which was run over by a car. I will never forget how it just lay there and bled to death. That was sad.

If you could choose one person to meet, dead or still alive, who would this be and why?
There are some people, who are active in Germany's hip hop scene that I would like to meet and talk to, like Marteria. I'd like to have an exchange of ideas with him and possibly collaborate on something. I really love all these people from the Berlin scene - like Peter Fox, Miss Platinum, and so on. They all know each other and support each other. They attend each other's gig and do guest performances, so it's all like one big family, really, and I really want to become part of that.
