Juliana Rotich has pioneered innovations that have put Kenya on the map as one of Africa’s pioneers in technology. The social entrepreneur has developed solutions, such as the online platform Ushahidi to monitor crises, help disaster relief and most importantly, bring technology to the people who would otherwise not be able to access it. For her work she was awarded with the German Africa Prize.
