Brahms, Haendel or Bach... these famous European musicians were almost entirely unknown in the slums of Kenya's capital Nairobi. And their music – classical music – of course too! But a programme called Ghetto Classics has changed that. It has not only introduced a new kind of music here but has also shown around 300 young people an alternative way out of the cycle of crime, drugs and poverty.
