Kenya: Building bridges to help vulnerable colobus monkeys

Staff at Colobus Conservation are going to great lengths to save endangered monkeys from the threats posed by human activity around the popular Diani Beach.

In Kenya's Diani Beach, endangered colobus monkeys face shrinking forests, deadly power lines, and rising construction. At the Colobus conservation clinic, injured primates are rescued and treated, while canopy bridges and reforestation projects help them survive. Conservationists hope these efforts can secure a future for one of Africa's most vulnerable primates.
