Kerry Practically Secures the Democratic Nomination

The race for the US Democratic nomination is now over and Senator John Kerry will be the man who faces George W. Bush for the presidency. The incumbent Republican president called Kerry to congratulate him and Bush said he was looking forward to a ‘spirited race’. Now Kerry’s main rival, Senator John Edwards, is bowing out of the race.
