INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS was shot almost completely in Berlin and Brandenburg and at the Babelsberg film studios. And nearly 40 German actors play parts in it, including Christoph Waltz, who was honored with a best actor award at the Cannes Film Festival for his portrayal of an SS officer.
