Korean chaebols called to parliament in wake of Park corruption scandal

A political scandal threatening the office of South Korean president Park Geun-hye has reached the chaebols' ranks. They're not accused of anything per se - but a parliamentary panel is looking closely into the donations they made to foundations controlled by the president's confidante, Choi Soon-sil, who's accused of using her political connections for financial gain.
