Langeoog is the second-smallest of the seven East Frisian islands. It's only 11 kilometers long, and just 1.3 kilometers wide at its narrowest point. Nevertheless, it's a prime destination for nature-lovers - boasting white sand beaches, meadows, mudflats and wooded groves. There are no cars allowed on the island, which is part of the Wadden Sea National Park of Lower Saxony.
