Latin American bloc agrees on free trade zone

The heads of state of Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru have signed an important trade agreement. The pact eliminates tariffs on 92 per cent of the products traded between the four countries. The four partners count 212 million inhabitants among them, and their combined economies are worth almost one and a half trillion euros a year.
