Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina has resigned amid controversy over Ukrainian drones aimed at Russia that entered the Baltic country undetected. Days earlier, Silina had fired the defense minister over the incidents.

Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina has resigned after her coalition collapsed amid a political crisis linked to stray Ukrainian drones entering Latvian airspace.

The incidents, which triggered security concerns, also led to the dismissal of the defense minister over delayed anti-drone measures. The loss of coalition support ended Siliņa's parliamentary majority, highlighting growing political pressure over national security.
