Jochen Thiemann from North Rhine-Westphalia runs an unusual farming operation - he grows turf grass on 20 hectares. Once the grass is grown, it’s harvested in big rolls, roots included, so that customers can lay it out on their own lawns much like a carpet. Thiemann’s turf is top-notch, and business is thriving.
