Residents in southern Lebanon say they rely on aid convoys for food, medicine, and transport as movement restrictions continue in areas near the Israeli military's self-declared security zone.

Traveling with one such convoy, DW's Mohamad Chreyteh hears from Christian residents who describe long journeys for medical care and growing economic hardship.

Many insist their towns remain Lebanese and say they want the Lebanese state, not outside actors, to determine their future.
