'I speak for the dead'

"Only the dead can forgive, and they can no longer speak." Today, at the age of 97, Auschwitz survivor Leon Schwarzbaum continues to speak out about the atrocities that took place at the concentration camp. He goes to schools and appears at public events, and describes what life was like there. In this week's DW Interview, Schwarzbaum says he does this because "I owe it to the dead."
