Austrian artist Teresa Mar

We meet Austrian artist Teresa Mar who is one of the people contributing to this year’s Festival of Lights in the German capital. Her project goes by the name of Prisma.

The Lighting Designer

The Dutch designers Lonneke Gordijn and Ralph Nauta create light art from natural phenomena such as the flight of migratory birds.

The Photographer

Jan Leonardo Wöllert is a photographer based in Bremen, and his combination of fireworks, LED lights and choreography brings unexpected things to light. He uses time-lapse exposures. We accompany him on a shoot at a former hospital building outside of Berlin.

Text Message

Maurizio Nannucci is one of the world's most prolific neon light artists - and his early interest in visual poetry led to his signature form of installation. The Italian typically combines light with language and public spaces - and his work can be seen in museums in New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Amsterdam. We met up with him in Milan.
