A Bavarian family has decided to do without plastic, to protect themselves from the toxins it contains. But plastic is an integral part of daily life nowadays. Will they be able to avoid it completely?

Plastic pollutes the environment and gradually enters the food chain - posing a danger to animals and humans. So the Seelos family are taking a radical step: they want toavoid plastic completely in daily life. But that's not so easy. Making your own shampoo and toothpaste is possible, but even organic vegetables are often wrapped in plastic. And how do you replace a vacuum cleaner, much of which is made of plastic?
