Sol Gabetta plays Beethoven and Chopin
October 7, 2015The cello-playing star can be heard here for a limited time in an evening of chamber music titled "From Men in Love to Robert the Devil." "Men in Love" is a reference to the work in which Beethoven wrote musical variations on a theme from Mozart's "The Magic Flute." Chopin did the same with a theme from Meyerbeer's "Robert the Devil."
