Living in fear: How anti-Semitic is Germany?

Jews in Germany are increasingly alarmed by the rise in anti-Semitic attacks. Many wonder where this hatred comes from and whether it is exacerbated by Muslim immigrants. Our guests: Kristin Helberg (Journalist), Alan Posener (Welt) and Wenzel Michalski (Human Rights Watch).

Kristin Helberg is a freelance journalist who recently wrote a book about Syrian refugees in Germany. She says: “Germany needs a more inclusive memorial culture.”

Alan Posener is a commentator for the daily newspaper “Die Welt”. He says: “Jews everywhere are held responsible for every real or imagined injustice perpetrated by Israel.”
