A team of around 250 experts from the United Nations and from Southeast Asian nations is coordinating with the junta to chalk out a long-term strategy for over 2.4 million survivors of Cyclone Nargis. In the coming days, the experts will travel around the cyclone-hit areas to determine how much food, clean water and temporary shelter the survivors need, as well as to calculate the cost of reconstruction and of reviving the economy.
