The fact that many Eastern Europeans are now free to work in other EU countries is proving to be a drawback for poorer nations. Bulgaria and Romania are prime examples. The skilled workers from these countries are sorely missed back home after emigrating to wealthier countries. Already there's a shortage of doctors and engineers in the region. Is the East being bled dry?
