a German man convicted of kidnapping and killing an 11-year-old boy in 2002 has lost his appeal before the European Court of Human Rights. Magnus Gäfgen claimed his human rights had been violated because police threatened him with torture - but did not harm him - to get him to reveal where he had hidden the boy.
