The Bundeswehr, Germany's armed forces, is to be dramatically reduced, with about 30 bases set to close. The state of Schleswig-Holstein will be losing a naval base in Glücksburg. Only a few kilometers away lies the air base in Jagel, where drones, a technology of the future, are tested.
