Economics ministers from around the EU have been meeting in Brussels, trying to figure out how best to steer the car industry out of crisis. Topping the agenda has been Opel and the other european subsidiaries of General Motors. GM wants EU countries with Opel factories to provide 3.3- Bbillion euros in financial support.
