Following the suspected murder of 43 students at the beginning of October, thousands of people in Mexico took to the streets. Violence and corruption are part of everyday life with police and politics tightly bound up in the affairs of the drug cartels. Human rights activist Alejandra Ancheita discusses the current situation in Mexico.
